These terms cover the website, accounts and subscriptions. They are short because the product is not released yet; the licence for the desktop application will be published with the first build and will apply to the software itself.
Pre-release software
CADMVR is in development. Alpha and beta builds are unfinished, will have bugs, and may change or lose features between versions. Do not rely on them for a live show without a fallback. They are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind.
Accounts
You need an account to subscribe. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. We can close accounts used to abuse the service or other people.
Subscriptions
- Prices are shown on the pricing page and include VAT where it applies. Billing is monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe.
- You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period and does not renew.
- A failed payment gets a seven-day grace period, after which the seat becomes read-only until payment succeeds.
- The founder alpha price applies while the alpha runs; at 1.0, seats move to a published plan and you can cancel before the change.
- One seat licenses one person on up to two machines. Studio seats are per person.
Files and formats
Your projects are yours. The .cmvr format is a standard MVR plus a sidecar, so your files open in other tools. MVR and GDTF are open standards stewarded by the GDTF group; CADMVR implements them and is not endorsed by that group.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from the site or the software is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
